Amazing Colleagues

For over 10 years, Harvard has honored individual staff members as Harvard Heroes: individuals who have gone above and beyond in their jobs, led with principles and conviction, and helped make Harvard an excellent place to study, conduct research, and work.

When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted our personal and professional lives, Harvard staff members demonstrated resolve, integrity, empathy, and growth in the face of adversity. Heroic efforts were made across the University, by employees at every level. In light of this tremendous group effort, we want to acknowledge the contributions of each member of our community:

Thank you. You are a Harvard Hero!

You did what needed to be done, learning new technology and finding new ways of working in a rapidly changing environment. You adapted your working hours and working style to accommodate the needs of those around you. You showed up and proved yourself to be essential. You stepped up when others had to attend to loved ones. You kept spirits up, and you helped Harvard to continue its educational and research missions. Learn more in the video salutes to staff below. No doubt, you have stories of colleagues who made contributions that helped you and your work and exemplified the compassionate spirit that has buoyed the Harvard community in a challenging year. Tell us about the Amazing Colleagues you worked with this year.
